The more I’m learning about Israel these past two years, through shows like yours, Ana, TYT, as well as podcasts like Breaking Points and sites like Drop Site News, is there seems to be a pervasive societal sickness in that country. It almost feels as though there’s a mass sociopathy amongst the people there.
Stories like this, along with the fact that as of this past July, 79% of Israelis said they were “not so troubled” or “not troubled at all” by reports of famine and suffering in Gaza.” The videos of the settlers in the West Bank terrorizing Palestinians. And of course the mass psychopathy that’s been proven throughout the IDF.
I know I’m generalizing, and of course there are plenty of good people in Israel. I know this. But I see and read the stories regarding the attitudes and views of the majority of the population on different things, and I wonder about this. The thing that racks my brain is the “why.” What is going on there, from a societal standpoint, that has caused this hardening of the heart amongst the majority of its people?
