Martha Raddatz Downplays Gangs Taking Over Just a 'Handful of Apartment Complexes' in Aurora

The biggest names in news are completely detached from the injustices that plague poor and vulnerable communities.

Martha Raddatz overtly downplayed the absolute insanity of Venezuelan gangs taking over only “a handful of apartment complexes” in Aurora, Colorado during an interview with Sen. J.D. Vance over the weekend.

There actually was a deeply frustrating debate about whether any gang takeovers were happening at all. Of course, as always, the left broadly denied it while the right engaged in hyperbolic nonsense before moving on to Springfield, Ohio, where they falsely claimed Haitian migrants were eating cats.

But apparently the media has moved on from the “it’s not happening” to the “it’s happening, but it’s no big deal” phase of the Aurora controversy.
